Wheel is a single spin of a segmented wheel. Each segment shows a multiplier, including zero. Where the pointer stops decides the payout.
Example shown: Wheel by InOut Games · Studio RTP: 95%
Type: instant game · Provably fair: usually, check the game · Bonus wagering: often excluded or reduced
How Wheel Works
You choose a risk level and often the number of segments. Low risk spreads small multipliers across the wheel. High risk fills most segments with zero and puts a few large multipliers on the rest.
The Maths
| Risk | Zero segments | Top multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Low | Few | Small |
| Medium | About half | Medium |
| High | Most | Large |
The house edge is built into the segment layout and is usually stated in the game. Risk changes the variance, not the expected return.
Verifying a Round
If the game is provably fair, open its fairness panel before you play and note the hashed server seed. After you rotate seeds, the casino reveals the original seed; hash it, check that it matches, and recompute your results. Our provably fair guide walks through each step. If a game claims to be provably fair but has no working verification panel, treat the claim as marketing.
Before You Play
- Read the segment layout before you spin.
- High risk means most spins pay nothing.
- Wheel game shows in the live casino are a different product with higher edges.
Every round has a negative expected return. Fast games make it easy to place hundreds of bets in a session, so set a loss limit before you start.

Is wheel the same as a live game show?
No. Live game shows have bonus rounds and usually a higher house edge. This is a single instant spin.
Does the number of segments matter?
It changes how the payouts are spread, not the average return.
